My last screening test result was normal; why should I undergo screening again?

You may have a cancer that was too small to detect at your last screening test, or you may have a new cancer that has appeared since then. If you notice symptoms suggestive of bowel cancer, such as anaemia, weight loss, bleeding from the rectum (back passage), or change in your bowel habits, you should consult your doctor and not wait until your next screening invitation.
