What are the symptoms of Helicobacter pylori infection?
The infection often has no symptoms, but in some cases it may cause stomach ulcers, abdominal pain, nausea, or – very rarely – stomach cancer. People with stomach cancer may lose weight unexpectedly or have difficulty in swallowing, gastrointestinal bleeding, an abdominal mass, or anaemia. If you notice any of these symptoms, you should consult your doctor immediately.
