What is second-hand smoke?

Second-hand smoke (also referred to as “environmental tobacco smoke” or “other people’s smoke” or "tobacco smoke pollution") is the smoke emitted from the burning end of smoked tobacco products, including cigarettes, usually in combination with the smoke exhaled by the smoker. The inhalation of second-hand smoke by non-smokers may be considered involuntary or passive smoking.
