I have been diagnosed with cancer. Will being more physically active be beneficial?

For some cancers where it has been studied, physical activity during and after cancer treatment has been shown to improve physical functioning and quality of life, and reduce cancer-related fatigue. So, unless advised otherwise by a qualified health professional, cancer patients are recommended to be physically active and to follow the usual guidelines as much as possible.
